WATTBIKE
Wattbike was founded in 2000 with the vision to create the ultimate indoor bike. The goal was to make a bike versatile enough to test top athletes as well as recreational riders, while being able to capture all the most important data needed for accurate analysis.
The Wattbike is the only bike certified by British Cycling to identify potential in young talent. It is also used by other cycling federations as well as other top athletes in athletics, football, hockey. In 2015, Wattbike signed a testing and modernisation contract with UIC (Union Cycliste Internationale) and is now used in their centres across all continents. The "Power test protocol" developed by Wattbike is now a standardised protocol for talent identification.
