All professional reformers are equipped with high-precision springs. Merrithew^™ springs are exceptionally durable and are custom-made from the highest quality materials. All springs are nickel-plated, heat-treated, and firmly attached to the reformer carriage. Each spring ends with a special head that securely fastens the spring to the gearbar system.

To ensure safety, optimal results, and warranty conditions, springs must be replaced every 2 years.

The traditional gearbar system is included in professional reformers and fully shifts into one of three positions to securely lock the reformer springs during use.

For additional versatility with six positions, the gearbar system can be upgraded to high precision (as shown), which also improves ergonomics when adjusting or changing tension. The high-precision gearbar system must be selected at the time of purchase so it can be installed during manufacturing.

SPX^® Max Reformers have a 55.9 cm (22 in) wide carriage, while the V2 Max^™ reformer carriage is wider - 61 cm (24 in). The reformer carriage is designed to provide both superior comfort and support as well as a smooth and quiet ride along the rails. High-quality EVA foam padding offers a premium feel during exercise and is easy to clean.

A 15 cm (6 in) extension is available if you want to enable exercise for users who are taller than 193 cm (6 ft 4 in).

With durable wheels on both sides of the reformer, moving and positioning is simple, allowing you to use the reformer in a wide variety of spaces.

For the SPX^® Max reformer, we also offer a vertical stand for upright storage.

The footbar provides a secure surface for pushing off and ensures superior comfort while reducing pressure on feet and hands. With four positions and the ability to remove the bar, you have plenty of options for adjusting the apparatus for all users.

The adjustable headrest offers three different positions to improve spinal alignment and provide support for the cervical vertebrae.

The padded shoulder rests are particularly stable and provide excellent support for hands or feet. They can be quickly removed if you want to install other accessories or use a flat surface.

It is made from strong, solid wood and is treated to prevent slipping for additional safety during standing exercises.

They are made from durable silicone rubber for improved grip that keeps the reformer in place on various surfaces and during all types of exercises.
