Extended Base Plate for the Functional Trainer
The Functional Trainer has to be bought with one of three bases: the free-standing base (model 3025), the floor mount base plate (model 3021) or this extended base plate (model 300836).
The extended base plate raises the Functional Trainer by 305 mm (12"). Keiser built it for basketball teams, where the higher cable path matches the movements being trained.
Key benefits
- Raises the Functional Trainer by 305 mm, so the cables run higher
- Made for basketball and other overhead work
- The Functional Trainer keeps its full range: any load, any speed, any plane
- Anchored into a concrete floor, so the machine stays put under fast pulls
Anchoring
The plate has to be securely anchored into a concrete floor, following Keiser's instructions. If it is not, the Functional Trainer can come loose from the concrete and cause serious injury or death; the facility takes on the liability for the anchoring.
